What you will do:
Join our dynamic team at a leading international company! We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to strategically source and manage the sourcing for our private label products within our eCommerce development team. Have you ever played a pivotal role in launching products that capture markets and delight millions? We understand—it is a rare skill! - Develop and execute efficient sourcing management strategies for new and existing private label products to meet business objectives.
- Find, build and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to negotiate the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Own the procurement process from initial vendor engagement to final delivery, ensuring compliance with company standards and objectives.
- Monitor and report on supplier and manufacturers performance, ensuring they meet our quality and ethical standards.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high-quality and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Streamline sourcing procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize lead times;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on sourcing terms and processes.
- Assess risks associated with procurement activities and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate delivery schedules, arrange shipping, manage distribution logistics and replenishment procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with market data and product development timelines and processes.
What do we expect from you:
- At least 3+ years experience in sourcing/logistics management role in an identical or similar field within the retail or eCommerce industry.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience with contract management.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to calculate costs and analyze supply chain data.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience or interest in packaging and label design is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines and objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Fluent in English, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
